We host Football Pools also known as Survivor Pools, Suicide Pools, Elimination Pools or Knock-Out Pools for professional football.
Please check back frequently as we are expanding to other sports and television events.
The basic idea of these pools is that you:
- Pick one team to win each week in the football season
- If your pick wins, you move on to the next week
- If your pick loses, you are eliminated from the pool
- The idea is to survive each week longer than any other player in your pool
A pick signifies an entrant into your league. Members can have 1 or more picks, each of which will be eliminated as a separate entrant as the season progresses.
If a member has 3 picks and they choose Dallas, San Diego, and Philadelphia in week 1 and only Dallas loses, that member will have 2 picks remaining.

- Buy Back Option
We do offer the ability for you to 'revive' members eliminated at any point (often called a 'buy back'). This can be done by the commissioner only, by navigating to 'Non-Survivors' under the leagues submenu and clicking the 'revive' button next to the pick. Please note that players must be revived when all games for the week have been played and the week has moved to the next (i.e; on Tuesdays).
Once logged in to the site, under “Commissioners” click on “Edit Member” edit yourself and change the number of picks on your member setting to
however many non-internet users in your pool plus your personal picks. Then under “Leagues” click on “Member Settings” and click on edit.
In the edit mode, you can add a name to the pick alias. So if you are entering picks for the non-internet user “Joe Smith” then you can change
the pick alias to JoeSmith.
Inviting members to your league is quick an easy. Simply email them your league name and password or use our automated tool to do so. To use the
automated tool, login to your account and navigate to Invite Members under in the main navigation on the left hand side of our site.
Each pick assigned to you by a commissioner can contain a custom name defined by you. By default, your picks will be named Pick #1, Pick #2, etc…
To change this, when logged in, go to Edit Profile in the main navigation on the left hand side of our site.
Edit Profile also allows you too change other site settings.
If all of the people are eliminated in a particular week, the commissioner will be notified (via email) that everyone has been eliminated. The commissioner can then sign in and on the default home screen can choose whether to close the league or re-open it to continue another week. When re-opening it, all people eliminated in that week will be re-instated and the league will continue on. Please note that if another weeks deadline passes, the league will automatically be closed and can not be re-opened from that point forward.

The ability to have a user "buy back" into the pool after he/she was eliminated is present. Sticking with the survivor theme, we call it "reviving". It can be accomplished by a commissioner navigating to the "Non-Survivors" page and clicking on the "Revive" button that is next to the user. This will put the user back into the league. Please note, "Reviving" should occur after all games for the week have been recorded in our system. If the member is "revived" before then, our automated eliminating system will re-eliminate them.
